This October half term, explore how wildlife is preparing for colder weather with our series of exciting, free, family activities!
What’s on?
Every day, you’ll find a free self-led craft activity on the theme of autumn wildlife. There’s no need to book—just drop in!
On selected days, take part in free workshop sessions. These are free but places are limited and on a first come, first served basis, so please ask at the Welcome Desk on arrival.
Workshops:
- Tuesday 29 October—Join Brightwoods Forest School to make an autumnal lantern so you can light the way outside when the evenings are getting darker.
- Wednesday 30 October & Thursday 31 October—Work with Same Difference Arts to create your own bug hotel so the insect friends in your garden have somewhere to stay warm this winter.
On 26 – 27 October, you can also enjoy a train ride—for details visit our webpage on available train rides.
