Ticket to Ride

Children become engineers as they problem solve and learn about different roles on a steam train.

To begin with, children will use large 3D soft play shapes to build a steam train. Once onboard their steam train, they find out about the different roles that people play to make sure the train operates smoothly. They do this through role play, where they can handle objects, view historic images, as well as having their own train ticket to take home.

After a song and a story, linked to steam trains, the children can experience what it is like to step onboard a real stationary locomotive.

Pre-booking is required.
